Dr Lakshmi joined the oral healthcare field to help change the way people think about going to the dentist’s office.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health science, India and completed Masters in Public Health from Deakin University, Melbourne in the year 2007.

Since then he has been practising dentistry in Queensland. He enjoys attending, continuing education courses that include ways that patients can improve their quality of life and have a healthy, beautiful mouth and smile.

Most recently he has completed courses for Invisalign®, implants, and other areas of dentistry that can help patients to look and feel better and have improved function for chewing and smiling.

Dr Lakshmi enjoys meeting new patients and getting to know them and their families. He appreciates it when patients want to play an active role in their dental experience.

Dr Rene Bazin

B.D.S., M.P.H., M.B.A

Dr Rene qualified in 1979 from Birmingham in the UK. Rene owned several practices in the UK and gained the Investors in People award in 1988. He brings a wealth of experience to the practice and has a professional interest in orthodontics, He has attended many courses to further his professional development and has recently been awarded the Myobrace certification.

He has studied all aspects of dentistry as well as having a keen interest in orthodontics. He treats both adults and children using the Myobrace system together with oral myology and is often able to treat jaw alignment problems which may result in simpler treatment plans. He also has a keen interest in the use of facial growth orthodontics to correct crowding as well as treating airway issues, creating healthy patients, great faces and a beautiful smile.

Rene is accredited to use the SomnoMed appliances for the treatment of sleep apnoea and snoring issues. Rene is married and has three grown up children. His spare time is taken up walking his two dogs along the lovely Sunshine Coast beaches.
